I finally typed it up It's old, very old, it confuses me as to when but i'm thinking end of 2002, the good people cut the date off so I can't see.
Anyway...
The Last Word
Over to Walford’s Kim Medcalf for the final say…
What was the last item of clothing you bought?
I went to New York at New Year with my boyfriend and I bought a nice big jumper to keep myself warm, because it was absolutely freezing out there! There were loads of sales on – perfect!
When was the last time you had a really good night out?
The other night I went to see my boyfriend’s band at a gig. He plays guitar in a group called The Goldsharks. They have quite a broad sound, a cross between Nirvana and Coldplay! Hopefully they’re about to get signed up by a record label. I get really nervous when I’m watching him as I want it to go well!
When did you last feel guilty about something?
I spend quite a lot of money on an outfit to wear to last year’s National TV Awards, and I remember thinking, ‘Can I justify that much on one item?’ I think it was worth it though. The hardest thing is that once you’ve worn an outfit, it’s often hard to wear it out again, but I’ll make sure I get my money’s worth!
What was the last song you listened to?
The Scientist by Coldplay. It’s the single that they had out recently and it’s on their new album. I’d love to see them play live one day. I went to see Lenny Kravitz in concert recently, and was blown away by how fantastic he was, and his band. He plays all the instruments on his albums – how can one person be so talented?
Who was your last crush on?
I never had crushes on popstars on anyone when I was younger, but I did have a bit of a thing for the actor Rob Lowe. It was during the late 1980’s, and me and my mate used to rent his films and drool over him! He was lovely.
When did you last feel proud of yourself?
Winning Best Newcomer at the National TV Awards was totally unexpected, but it felt really great. But I’m probably more proud of the fact that I managed to get up the stairs to collect it! I had broken my leg and was on crutches for three months, and I’d only come off them a week before the awards. And on top of that, I had stupidly worn high heels! It’s such a huge event and was quite overwhelming, so I was just pleased I didn’t fall off the stage!
When did you last go to the gym or do any exercise?
I should’ve gone yesterday but I kept finding reasons not to do it! I only go when I can be bothered, I’m trying to get some personal training appointments at the moment because after breaking my leg, I’ve got to be a bit careful about what I do and make sure I’m getting supervision. Involving someone else is a good way of making sure I go along to the gym!
When was the last time you read your horoscope?
Probably this morning! I’m a fanatic and I totally believe in all that. Elle magazine had predictions for 2002 and they got loads right – it said my life would change at the start of the year, and I got the part of Sam Mitchell in EastEnders. Then in the summer it said there would be a major event which would turn my world upside down – and I had the car crash where I broke my leg. I can’t wait to read my predictions for 2003!
When did you last cry?
I cry very easily at films. I can’t remember the last one that upset me but probably the most embarrassing one is ET. I always cry when I watch it, the first time I ever saw ET I must have been about 10, but it still gets me now!
One thing, HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! The ET thing cracked me up
