WE'RE BACK FROM THE KIIIIMBAAAAREEEET! ;D
Good day, I had a reeeeeeally nice day, yesssssss!
What can I ramble to you this time about, well Lauren came and got me at about 1, bad traffic apparently, got the train about 3 in the end, headed straight to Oxford Street to do a bit of shopping, got quite a few bits for a bargain.....but ran out of time, normally you have to stop when you run out of money but I didn't actually spend that much.
Ooo we did a bit of star spotting, well saw potentionally 2 people then decided we'd star spot but saw no one else Lauren's convinced she saw Jermaine Jackson on the phone, I didn't see, and then I saw Brian Dowling walking up Oxford Street, that's it though.
ARGH my dress, it's been the most annoying thing ever, the straps are detatchable, but I don't want them detatched, they decide otherwise, one side the plastic bit has snapped and the bit of material you're meant to connect it to, it's been interesting trying to get that to stay in one place, I am now going to sew the crappy things on so they can't come off!
It got to about half 6 and we decided we better go eat, Lauren was starved LOL! Sooooo we got the tube to Piccadilly, was on the escalator and my face must of been a picture, KIM'S IN THE UNDERGROUND WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I just looked round and was like the bloke behind must of thought oh dear! That's the only pictures around but still it's finally a start!!
Then we ate, well I decided I didn't want it, then it was time to go to the theatre WOO! Went in, sat down and all that jazz, then when it started there was a voiceover dude, saying there's no camera's allowed blah blah please turn your phones off....never had that before, then he said 'Tonight the Emcee will be played by....' then the Victor dudes name, so we didn't have James tonight! Christoper was really quite good as the Emcee though, I wasn't sure how keen i'd be because we're used to James, but he was good! He was a lot less dark and scary then James I think, but I think that worked as well, just a different interpretation! And considering some of the bits he was having to play Victor and the Emcee he did really well!
Then Kim arrives, and as soon as she comes on for 'Don't Tell Mama' i'm gone everytime, I love it so much but it makes me laugh her face and what she says and it's just rather amusing! Considering she still has a bit of a cold she was fantastic you couldn't tell, I said to her you sounded a bit deeper but that was all, and that's not a bad thing and didn't effect how good she was so it didn't matter. I had to control the laughter during 'Mein Herr' not at her, but it's usually the Victor dude that lifts her up, but because he was the Emcee it was someone else, and this blokes face was such a picture! I must say he looked so delighted to be there it was just so funny!
No sitting on Michael's head tonight LOL! She didn't stand up again, probably wise, a couple of times when she gets wheeled on the bed, she put her arms in the air and went 'YESSSSS' was so so funny, small things really do amuse me, she looked like she was having fun!
To amuse myself during the pineapple, I counted how many times they said pineapple......5, quite surprising I was expecting more, like Kim said, it doesn't really do it for me! I did then apologise to all participants of the pineapple though, not that they were there.
The only bad thing I can say, is I had a rather tall man infront of me, and his head was right in my way, I had to lean one side to see one half of the stage and the other side to see the other, so I couldn't see everyone, but the second half I gave up because I thought how annoying must I be to the people behind me, it's doing my eyes in trying to see past the head so I saw what I could, not like I havent seen before I managed!
Kim had 34 people in to see her tonight! 34!! Herds of them I was expecting them to be quite rowdy but I made more noise then the lot of them put together, not the vocal appreciative types. Oooh and I didn't make a prat out of myself giving no blokes my hand again. It was really quite a quiet audience though, they didn't seem to laugh much or anything, I can't really laugh much when I know the ends of the jokes, but they didn't seem to either. They're not always going to be loud though, just depends somedays they are somedays they're not.
Then after the show we went to see Kim of course, was quite an amusing time gotta love it, had a good chitchat, then as we were leaving I said ooh we saw you in the underground, we're just going to ride the escaltors now! HAAAAA ah was funny, and we did ride the escalators, but, when you're moving, it's very hard to take pictures, and we couldn't keep going up and down all night, so I failed miserably, would be a delight if they'd put some posters in a stationary place, I would of kept going but the underground is still rather busy at that time of night.
I shall share my attempts anyway, anyone who thinks it's easy taking pictures when you're move yooou go and try, not at all the camera does not like it, well my phone doesn't like it, i'm not quite weird enough to get my actual camera out, not when there kept being announcements 'flash photography is not permitted in the underground', look lady i'm not using a flash, and that is Kim, important business.
Believe it or not, that is Kim, half hiding behind the 'Cabaret.'
Oooh and you can see that's she's 'superb'
That's about it really without waffling anymore, had a reeeeeally nice day though it's been a very good one!
