Yesss! Though I hope it doesn't mean it's going to go too quickly! Definitely going to be different, I look forward to seeing them come through the bush ha! First day of tech rehearsals at the theatre and the sun has come out for them, I hope this is a sign of the weather to come!

Well, it's started! Second preview tonight. I couldn't wait so went yesterday and loved it! Reminded me of Me and My Girl and Singin' in the Rain. Kim was of course, fabulous. She's onstage more than I was expecting from what she said which is a bonus. One song which she totally smashed, a slight mishap with a door "Bobby, you open this door!" Cue the door opening haha! And a line about milking a cow which amused me.
Strange at first, but the theatre being completely outside is magical and quite liberating, especially when the sun began to set. The only disadvantage (except for getting wet if it rains), certain audience members obviously thought being outdoors it isn't a formal theatre performance and think it's okay to have conversations throughout the entire show, and get up and down from their seats constantly. It's still a theatre, if you can't behave please do us all a favour and don't go.
It was very well received, especially for a first performance, Kim got lots of laughs and even a "WOO Sam Mitchell!" at curtain call! And no it was not from me!

It is really strange, it's not like walking into a theatre at all! People were in there with jugs of pimms and bottles of wine lol! Pahaha it wasn't meeeeee! I promise! Some crazy behind! I told Kim and she asked if it was me

Wow so it's really just like an outdoor concert. They should have stricter rules on shows like that. That'd really annoy me having some drunk and rude chatting people around me.
hahahaha so even Kim thinks it's something you would do! Ah love it.

Believe me, I think some people thought it was! I had some American woman behind me talking, loudly the WHOLE show!! A man told her to shut up near the end, so she did it louder...and started screaming like a banshee whenever she felt like it. There aren't even ushers to make sure you're not taking pictures and stuff... :/
Oh dear, i've obviously not made a very good impression have I?! I thought it was a bit rude to be honest! Her name is in the programme..
