WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY! I have serious obsessive problems, but it's all good ;D
Life is still very much a Cabaret, and Kim was amazing, as always lol!
Firstly, I would like to say, I am cursed with trains, this is the 3rd time in a row i've had issues, today there decides to be another fire on the line around London Bridge, so they've closed Charing Cross as well, left here at about 4.15 to make sure we had plenty of time to get there, gets to Tonbridge and had to get a train to Orpington and change there. Gets to Orpington and told platform 7, they then change their minds and say platform 6, only to decide it's platform 7 again
Finally got on another train that's being re-routed to Victoria, not a problem. Took ages and was late getting in because it went all out of the way. Got to Victoria at about half 6, about to get the tube only to discover they'd shut the whole of Victoria underground, fabulous! I don't know that station so I had no idea where I was going, someone told us what bus we could catch, it was taking ages so I asked how far it is to walk to Piccadilly, too far apparently, so we finally got on a bus, and arrived in Piccadilly at 7.15, 3 hours after leaving home for a journey that's meant to take an hour max
Thankfully there wasn't such a fiasco on the way back, apart from the rowdy men rattling on about their pasties, and talking to this boy and girl who had a bottle of wine and glasses
yes on a train as you do. When I got up to get off one of the blokes goes she hasn't smiled once, talking about me, I was just thinking my god you're a middle aged man talking in a very crude manner very loudly to young girls, i'm ignoring you.
Moving on.....I loooooooove the Cabaret still ;D Considering Kim had been up since early this morning, been on This Morning, had a matinee and evening performance, she was on excellent form! One of the best times i've seen her I think. She nearly killed me laughing at the beginning, when she sang 'Don't Tell Mama' that's got to be probably the best time i've ever seen it, she was getting well into it, pulling all sorts of faces and laughing, I love it when she comes out and goes 'Jesus...' HAAAA it's funny, I thought she was going to crack up laughing at one point too
'Mein Herr' was quite different too, she did it in a much more comedic way than i've seen before, whether or not that was deliberate I don't know, I think This Morning set her off...this morning with pulling some faces, don't know if she realised but I found it quite entertaining! When she was climbing up the ladder things too I couldn't help thinking 'No one can get close to me!" Haha!
And i'm not sure but there were times I wasn't actually sure if she was crying! I don't think so but it was very convincing I must say!
'Maybe This Time' was soooooo cute, from the 3 previous songs it's just on a completely different level and she just sings it and it's just beautiful!
'Cabaret', my god, I say this everytime but seriously she hasn't half got a pair of lungs on her! Amaaaaaaaazing I love love love it, when she's well into it and just omg, leaves me grinning like a cheshire cat everytime. I kept kinda getting butterflies tonight too, no idea why it was very strange!
And it's official, I am loooud haha! Kim can hear me wooooing apparently HAAAA don't know whether that's a good or bad thing, but when no one else it making noise it's not my fault! I get excited and i'm just showing my appreciation, Kim said it was a quiet audience, so technically good job I was providing the sound ;D
